A Concurrent User License allows you to install ExtendSim on any number of computers, but limits the number of concurrent users to the specified maximum.

This license type is cost-effective if you have many ExtendSim modelers whose use is infrequent or intermittent such that only a few of them would be using ExtendSim at the same time.

button A single central server must be used as the License Server. License Manager software is installed on the Server, is TCP/IP based, and runs as a service.
button

The ExtendSim application and files are installed either on the Server (atypical) or on any number of Client computers (typical). In either case, the License Manager automatically limits concurrent users to the maximum allowed. When one concurrent user finishes use, the license is returned to the pool for use by another.

The ExtendSim Network License also:

button

Allows remote or mobile users to export or "check out" a license from the network for off-line usage (such as for a laptop taken off site) while maintaining adherence to the ExtendSim License Agreement.

button Gives information on the number, location, and identity of current users.
button Provides utilization statistics so you can determine if the appropriate size license is being used.
button Notifies you when your maintenance renewal date has been reached.
button Allows you to easily increase the number of concurrent users.
button

Network Licenses require an annual Maintenance Plan. For the first year, maintenance is included in the price of the license. After the first year, Maintenance is billed annually at 20% of the cost of a then-current license. (Policy on late or lapsed Maintenance.)

button A Network License must be installed and used within a single, specified continent: Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, or South America.
button Use over the internet is prohibited. See the ExtendSim ASP license if you wish to provide access to ExtendSim over the internet.
button In the USA, Imagine That Inc. is the sole source for network licenses.
button Full-featured products are the only ExtendSim products available as concurrent user licenses.
