When purchasing either an ExtendSim Network License or a Maintenance Subscription, you are committing to an annual fee that is due on or before its expiration date. Imagine That Inc. will email the registered license administrator a minimum of 30 days in advance of expiration. You have up to 30 days after the expiration date to make the payment. If payment is not made within that timeframe, reinstatement penalties will be incurred to maintain the license.

Single User Licenses

Maintenance Subscription
Optional for single user licenses

You may either purchase a Maintenance Subscription for your single user license or just pay for upgrades to newer versions as they are released. If you choose the ExtendSim Maintenance Subscription, it is billed annually based on the date of purchase. A Maintenance Subscription ensures you always have the latest ExtendSim release. To continue receiving regular upgrades, the Maintenance Subscription must be paid for no later than 30 days after the purchase anniversary. If payment is late or has lapsed for a period of time, our policy is:

bullet Up to 30 days after the expiration date. No penalty.
bullet Between 30 and 365 days past expiration. The Maintenance Subscription can be reinstated upon payment of a reinstatement surcharge (15% of the renewal fee) in addition to the annual Maintenance fee.
bullet More than one year past its expiration date. The license is subject to our published upgrade prices. A new Maintenance Subscription can be purchased when the customer purchases the upgrade.

In all cases of reinstatement, the Maintenance Subscription will be back-dated to the original expiration date.

Network & Lab Licenses

Maintenance & Support Plan
Mandatory for all network & lab licenses

When purchasing an ExtendSim Network License, you are also committing to payment of an annual Maintenance & Support Plan equivalent to 20% of the cost of the then-current list price of your package. The Network Maintenance & Support Plan is billed annually based on the date of purchase. It ensures you always have the latest ExtendSim release and that all users on your network have access to Imagine That Inc. Technical Support. To continue receiving regular upgrades and support, the Maintenance & Support Plan must be paid for no later than 30 days after the anniversary date of purchase. If payment is late or has lapsed for a period of time, our policy is:

bullet Up to 30 days after the expiration date. No penalty.
bullet Between 30 and 365 days past expiration. The Maintenance & Support Plan can be reinstated upon payment of a reinstatement surcharge (15% of the renewal fee) in addition to the annual Maintenance & Support fee.
bullet 1 to 2 years past its expiration date. The Maintenance & Support Plan can be reinstated upon payment of a reinstatement surcharge (50% of the renewal fee) in addition to all past due Maintenance & Support charges.
bullet 2 to 3 years past its expiration date. After a 2-year lapse, the Maintenance & Support Plan is terminated. We offer a 25% discount toward the purchase of an equivalent new license. You must purchase within 3 years of the expiration date. A new Maintenance & Support Plan will go into effect based on the new purchase date.
bullet More than 3 years past its expiration date. The Maintenance & Support Plan is terminated. You must purchase a new license.
