The ExtendSim Maintenance Subscription is the solution for ExtendSim customers who:

		Want a cost-effective method to keep their ExtendSim licenses current.
		Prefer the convenience of budgeting for an annual payment.

How does the Maintenance Subscription work?

You have the option to purchase an ExtendSim Maintenance Subscription when you purchase or upgrade ExtendSim (single user licenses only). Major upgrades (whole number version changes) released during your maintenance year will automatically be shipped to you. You will be invoiced annually to renew the Subscription so that you can continue receiving regular upgrades. (Policy on late or lapsed Maintenance.)

		Cost of shipping the upgrade is included in the annual fee.
		The Maintenance Subscription is only available when you purchase or upgrade your ExtendSim license.
		If your Subscription order includes multiple ExtendSim licenses, the CD containing the upgrade will be shipped to one location within your company as specified by you. Note: Each license must have its own separate Maintenance Subscription.
		Minor updates and bug fixes between version changes may be downloaded from our web site.

Why should I opt for a Maintenance Subscription rather than just pay the upgrade cost at the time of release?

The Maintenance Subscription is designed to help with budget planning and avoids the cost of processing purchase requisitions for upgrades.

If you do not purchase the Subscription and you wish to upgrade to the current version of ExtendSim at a later date, it may cost you more. The upgrade price is variable, depending upon features included in each release.

Do I need a Maintenance Subscription if I own an ExtendSim Network License?

No. An ExtendSim Maintenance & Support Plan is already included in all Network (Concurrent User and Lab) Licenses.
