resellers who have industry and technical expertise, a strong customer
service focus, and sound business models. Choose the type of
Imagine That Inc. Channel Partner you want to be -- an OEM or
VAR.
OEM Partners are Original Equipment Manufacturers or System Builders.
OEM Partners employ the simulation power of ExtendSim in a custom-branded
application. Typically, an OEM Partner builds modules for use
with ExtendSim, then purchases the customized right to embed
ExtendSim in their application, and sell that product bundled
with ExtendSim under the OEM branded name. Pricing starts at

Imagine That Inc. Value Added Resellers fall into
one of five core programs designed to support the diverse go-to-market
requirements of our various partners. Each provide ExtendSim
product information, sales, support, and services to customers.
Eligibility for certain programs is based on the partner’s
level of commitment to the partnership. Learn which Imagine
That Inc. VAR program suits your needs, then submit
an application.
Occasional Reseller
The Occasional Reseller program provides customers with access
to the benefits of Imagine That Inc. software through indirect
channels. Occasional Resellers relay orders from customers who
cannot purchase directly from us either due to organizational preference
or governmental policy. The customer locates a reseller and initiates
the purchase after having learned about our product elsewhere.
Occasional Resellers do not drive a comprehensive process to promote
the sales of our products, and sales coming from this type of reseller
are incidental and sporadic more than planned. We do offer our
Occasional Resellers up to a 5% discount off list price of ExtendSim
commercial tools.
If you would like to propose a long-term strategic relationship
between our companies, please consider our Authorized VAR program.
Authorized VARs
To become an Authorized VAR and receive up to 20% off list price
of ExtendSim tools, you must meet Imagine That Inc.’s high
standards:

Actively promote Imagine That Inc. products
to help reach new customers. This includes inclusion on your
web site and in your marketing materials. |

Be knowledgeable about ExtendSim and invest
time, knowledge, and resources into generating sales. |
 |
Provide general product information, sales,
training and/or some support. |
 |
Resell ExtendSim to the general public. |
 |
Have a history of excellent customer service
and support demonstrated by a minimum of two customer references. |
 |
Submit a Business Plan including a Marketing
and Sales Plan as well as a Competitive Analysis. |
Exclusive Distributor
Authorized VARs with 2 or more years experience selling Imagine
That Inc. products can apply for an Exclusive Distributorship.
Typically, a Distributor manages with exclusive rights a specific
country or territory. (You may not ship product outside your territory.)
Exclusive Distributors are eligible to receive up to 45% off list
price of ExtendSim tools. Additional discounts are available if
the ExtendSim application and library files are localized and meet
specific criteria.

Distributors must know, understand, and use
the latest version of ExtendSim. |

ExtendSim should be the only discrete event,
continuous, discrete rate, or agent-based simulation software
used and sold. |

Actively promote Imagine That Inc. products.
You must develop, manage, and fund advertising and marketing
campaigns for your territory. This includes inclusion on your
web site. |

Provide quarterly sales forecasts and marketing
reports to ITI. |
 |
Localize marketing materials. We can provide
you with disk files. Or you may purchase ITI materials at cost
plus shipping. |

An accurate database of end-users,
resellers, and buyers must be maintained. ExtendSim
license purchased, serial number, contact information, and
upgrade history must be tracked. On a periodic basis, database
information will be exchanged for reconciliation. |

Distributors are responsible for contacting
their customers regarding upgrades and new releases. |
 |
Maintain inventory control and keep appropriate
sales records. |

Consulting Providers
The intent of the Consulting Provider
program is to establish and grow targeted solution practices with
other leading business organizations around the world.
Consulting Providers provide their customers with full solutions
from model building, to pre- and post-sales support, training,
implementation, and customization. They work closely with Imagine
That Inc. so the customers maximize their return on investment
in ExtendSim solutions. Members of the Imagine That Inc. Consulting
Provider program commit significant time, resources, and expertise
to provide customers with the best quality services and support.
To become a Consulting Provider, you must:

Demonstrate exceptional modeling and analytical
skills to ensure ExtendSim customers receive expert solutions. |

Have an innate ability to provide knowledgeable
solutions to clients through ExtendSim modeling while meeting
stringent requirements. |

Incorporate ExtendSim software solutions along
with proven and measurable technical expertise in a specific
industry or unique business. |
To apply for Consulting Provider status, you must provide 3 references
from current or past clients. Qualifications will be re-evaluated
on an annual basis.
As a Consulting Provider, you will receive prominent postings on
our web site, recommendations from our staff, and up to 15% discount
on ExtendSim products.
Expert Solutions Providers
The Imagine That Inc. Expert Solutions Providers program
has been designed to encourage and promote the integration of strategic
technologies and applications into third-party software to extend
the coverage of ExtendSim into specific market segments and provide
customers with world-class simulation solutions.
Expert Solutions Providers are software developers offering solutions
which complement ExtendSim; whether it’s a field-specific
library for ExtendSim or a companion product to enhance model building.
To become an Expert Solutions Provider, you must:

Maintain and support your software. |

Commit to continuously improving your software
and maintain its compatibility with future hardware/software
modifications. |
 |
Give appropriate attribution to Imagine That
Inc. in all marketing materials and web site. |
 |
Provide us with a minimum of one complimentary
license of your software for testing and support purposes. |
To apply for Expert Solutions Provider status, you must submit
your package with its documentation to Imagine That Inc. for approval.
Qualifications will be re-evaluated on an annual basis. As an Expert
Solutions Provider, you will receive prominent postings on our
web site, personal recommendations from our support staff, and
up to 15% discount on ExtendSim products.
Application instructions
Now it’s up to you. Channel Partner program applicants must complete sections applicable
to the partnership for which you are applying. This application
is to help us evaluate your company's ability to successfully
sell and support ExtendSim in your area. Complete and accurate
information is needed in order to process your application without
delay. All information will be held in strict confidence.
In addition to
the application, applicant must submit information regarding commercial
reseller status, company background (brochure or marketing collateral),
and a business and marketing plan (including market analysis, prospects,
and your value-added offerings), if specified for level of involvement.
Depending upon the type of partnership you are applying for,
the application process can take from one day to 6 weeks and the
entire authorization process could possibly take a few months (for
Consulting and Expert Solutions Partners).
Note: We do not give one time authorizations
or exceptions to the authorization criteria. Incomplete applications
or those missing requested documentation will not be considered.
Completion and return of the application does not constitute acceptance.
Imagine That Inc. reserves the right at its sole discretion to
change or deny authorization for any reason.
